Yes, absolutely. You have the right to choose your preferred provider for diagnostic imaging, including ultrasounds. Even if your referral form has a different clinic's name on it, you are welcome to bring it to any accredited practice, including ours. As long as the referral meets the necessary Medicare compliance requirements, it is valid for use at our clinic.
We can certainly perform your ultrasound. Please be aware that when both services are on one referral, they must be completed within 7 days of each other. You will need to visit another provider for your X-ray, but we are happy to book your ultrasound with us at your convenience. Just remember to have both scans done within the 7-day period.
We send your results directly to the doctor who referred you. Please book a follow-up appointment or phone consult with your doctor, as they will be the one to go over the results with you.
You Can Tell Us: Let our team know when your Specialist appointment is, and we will arrange for your images and report to be available to them before your visit.

We bulk bill patients with a valid Pension Card, Concession Card, or DVA Card, as well as children (16 and under) and pensioners (65 and over).
The only exception is for Dating scans, which are privately billed for all patients, including concession card holders(reduced rate).

See Your Doctor First: Your report is a technical medical document. We highly recommend that you first discuss the results with your referring doctor, as they can explain the findings in the context of your health.
Request a Copy: You are entitled to a copy of your report seven (7) days after your scan. Please contact our reception team after this 7-day period, and we will be happy to provide it.
