As the Director and Founder of Manning Specialist Ultrasound, Mawson was inspired to bring high-quality, patient-focused diagnostic care to the Manning Valley community. He believes that everyone deserves access to timely, professional healthcare delivered with kindness and respect.

Mawson graduated from the University of South Australia as a Medical Imaging Practitioner and went on to complete postgraduate qualifications in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. He has worked in private practices and tertiary hospitals across Australia, gaining extensive experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, obstetric, and general ultrasound.

After working across the Mid North Coast as a locum for a few years, Mawson saw firsthand the challenges many regional patients face—long waiting times and limited access to quality imaging. Wanting to make a difference, he founded Manning Specialist Ultrasound to provide a welcoming local service built on community care, compassion, and clinical excellence. He’s proud to support the Manning Valley by ensuring patients can receive the care they need, close to home.

When he's not in the clinic, Mawson loves embracing the local lifestyle. He is passionate about the Manning region and is usually found on his farm, getting his hands dirty with farm chores or working in his garden. He is proud to live in and serve the community he calls home.

Debbie is the friendly face that welcomes patients to Manning Specialist Ultrasound. With over 14 years of experience working locally as a medical imaging receptionist, she brings exceptional knowledge of patient care and clinic administration. Debbie takes great pride in supporting local patients with warmth and professionalism. Her approachable nature and attention to detail help ensure every visit is a smooth and positive experience.
